【Weekly Results】Try managing a free EA portfolio! （30 January-3 February 2023）
As we announced, we have added one EA to our portfolio starting this week. This is the EA “Night JRNY Micro Scalper MT5" announced on Monday. In this article, I would like to reconfirm the performance of the added EA along with the results of this week’s portfolio operation.
What is “Night JRNY Micro Scalper MT5" added to Portfolio No.1?
As introduced in the previous article, this EA is a new type of EA that sets limit orders for BUY LIMIT and SELL LIMIT before rollover every day and aims for characteristic price movements during rollover, and the backtest results are also very excellent.
There are 9 currency pairs supported: GBPUSD, EURSD, EURCHF, USDCHF, EURBP, USDCAD, AUDCAD, EURCAD, AND EURAUD, and of course there are good and bad among them. Therefore, we first decided to compare the performance of each currency pair and select the currency pair to use.
The performance of each currency pair was ranked by “Complex Criterion max" (a composite value of trade quality calculated from Total Trades, Drawdown, Recovery Factor, Expected Payoff, Sharpe Ratio).
All currency pairs had high numbers, but this time we dared to select 6 currency pairs in the green frame (99.99).

- White Bear DT GBPJPY: 1 win and 0 loss, total profit and loss was 189 yen (20.1 pips).
- White Bear DT USDJPY: 1 win and 0 loss, total profit and loss was 310 yen (16.0pips).
- Night JRNY Micro Scalper MT5: 0 wins and 0 losses, total profit and loss was 0 yen (0pips).

(Trades with a profit of even 1 yen are counted as “winning", while vice versa is counted as “negative")
- This week, although there were few trades, the profit and loss were able to end positively. The balance, which started at 100,000 yen, increased to 105,756 yen from 104,718 yen at the end of last week.
